QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

CTech Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş., a subsidiary of Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ), has been operating in the fields of Defense, Aviation, Space and Satellite Technologies, Communication Systems, Cybersecurity, Modeling, and Simulation since its establishment in 2005.

We are seeking a “Avionics Software Development Engineer” to be assigned at our Ankara-TUSAŞ Office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields from universities,
• Experienced in C/C++ software development languages,
• Familiar with software development processes (Analysis, Requirements, Design, Development, Verification, etc.),
• Experienced in software management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS, SVN, and JIRA,
• Proficient in English,
• Holds a Personal Security Clearance Certificate or eligible to obtain one,
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Defense Industry sector,
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Safety-Critical Software Development,
• Completed military service for male candidates or have an extended postponement.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge and experience in avionics software development and standards (DO-178B/C, DO-331, DO-330, ARINC 653),
• Knowledge of model-based software design,
• Familiarity with avionics systems and data bus protocols (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, etc.),
• Experience in safety-critical software development,
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (GHS Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, TUBİTAK GİS, etc.),
• Experience in .Net, Java, Groovy, Python, or Perl programming languages,
• Knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of development and testing environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

For the development of safety-critical software for avionics systems:

• Develop software requirements in accordance with system requirements,
• Perform software design, coding, and integration activities,
• Fulfill assigned tasks in the project in compliance with corporate project processes and design infrastructures,
• Conduct analysis, verification, and documentation activities required during avionics certification processes,
• Perform algorithm design validation activities using model-based development methods,
• Resolve software findings identified during software testing and integration.
