Expert RF Design Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

TUSAŞ subsidiary “CTech Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş.” has been operating in the fields of Defense, Aviation, Space and Satellite Technologies, Communication Systems, Cybersecurity, Modeling, and Simulation since its establishment in 2005.

We are currently seeking an “Expert RF Design Engineer” to be assigned at our Istanbul Teknopark Office located in Pendik-Kurtköy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduated from universities in fields such as Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related fields
Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF and Microwave design and development
Proficient in English
Team player, responsible, analytical thinking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Completed military service for male candidates

EXPECTED SKILLS:

In-depth knowledge and understanding of EM Theory, microwave and RF concepts and techniques, antenna theory, and related technologies
Familiarity with active analog electronic circuit and passive RF equipment design and verification
Experience with 2.5D EM simulation tools (AWR Microwave Office, ADS, etc.)
Experience with 3D EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, etc.)
Experience with RF and MW test and measurement techniques and equipment
Preferably deep knowledge and understanding of Digital/Analog communication, modulation techniques, link budget calculations
Preferably knowledge and experience in Radar and Electronic Warfare systems
Preferably knowledge in phased array antennas and array signal processing
Preferably experience in defense, aviation, and space sectors
Preferably experience with 2D and 3D mechanical design tools
Preferably knowledge of RF and MW production techniques
Preferably knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance
Preferably familiar with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, DO-160 standards

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Analyzing system requirements, performing link budget analysis, determining RF requirements
Conducting RF modeling and simulation activities for performance analysis
Dimensioning RF subsystems and components based on specifications and parameters
Creating test scenarios for RF systems; if necessary, participating in system-level test activities for projects
Participating in system engineering activities as an RF expert, contributing to decision-making processes, and providing support in documentation
Performing RF analysis/simulations based on RF/hardware requirements, making component selections, and conducting schematic and layout designs
Implementing RF hardware designs according to requirements
Planning, documenting, and conducting unit tests for implemented hardware, recording test results
Integrating RF hardware with peripheral systems
Participating in system-level test activities for RF projects
Participating in system engineering activities for projects as an RF expert, providing insights, contributing to decision-making processes, and preparing documentation for RF subsystems and components
Participating in peer reviews, such as preliminary design, critical design, or other necessary design review activities
Participating in interdisciplinary design reviews
