QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

TUSAŞ subsidiary “CTech Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş.” has been operating in the fields of Defense, Aviation, Space and Satellite Technologies, Communication Systems, Cybersecurity, Modeling, and Simulation since its establishment in 2005.

We are currently seeking an “Expert Hardware Design Engineer” to be assigned at our Istanbul Teknopark Office located in Pendik-Kurtköy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduated from universities in fields such as Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related fields
  • Proficient in English
  • Team player, responsible, analytical thinking skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Completed military service for male candidates
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field

EXPECTED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design and development
  • Knowledge and experience in multi-layer and high-speed PCB design
  • Familiarity with digital communication interfaces (ETHERNET, SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, etc.) and DDR RAM, PCI Express, High-Speed Transceiver
  • Knowledge and experience in mixed-signal structures (ADC, DAC)
  • Knowledge of electronic components
  • Knowledge and experience in flight-critical systems
  • Familiarity or experience with aviation standards such as DO-254

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Analyzing requirements and determining the needs of electronic boards
  • Creating test scenarios for the relevant board; if necessary, participating in system-level test activities for projects
  • Conducting electrical analysis/simulations and component selections according to hardware requirements, performing schematic and layout designs
  • Implementing electronic board designs according to the requirements
  • Familiarity with power budget analysis, Signal Integrity, SWAP
  • Planning and documenting unit tests for implemented electronic boards and recording test results
  • Integrating the relevant hardware with peripheral systems
  • Participating in system-level test activities
  • Providing expertise in hardware engineering activities for projects, contributing to decision-making processes, preparing documentation for hardware subsystems and components
  • Participating or managing peer reviews, such as preliminary design, critical design, or other necessary design reviews
  • Participating or managing interdisciplinary design reviews
  • Managing subcontractors when necessary
  • Conducting discussions with component suppliers, distributors, etc., for the improvement of design/implementation/production
