QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

TUSAŞ subsidiary “CTech Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş.” has been operating in the fields of Defense, Aviation, Space and Satellite Technologies, Communication Systems, Cybersecurity, Modeling, and Simulation since its establishment in 2005.

We are currently seeking an “Expert Communication System Design Engineer” to be assigned at our Istanbul Teknopark Office located in Pendik-Kurtköy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or related fields from preferably universities,
• Proficiency in English,
• Ability to work in a team, take responsibility, and possess analytical thinking skills,
• Strong problem-solving skills,
• Completed military service for male candidates.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wireless communication receiver/transmitter architectures, communication techniques (SCPC, C-OFDM, WCDMA, MIMO, Ad Hoc, Mesh, etc.), digital signal processing,
• Proficiency in information and coding theories,
• Advanced knowledge of communication physical layer applications (digital modulation/demodulation, coding/error correction, time and frequency correction, etc.),
• Proficiency in MAC and data link layer techniques and applications,
• Experience in modeling and simulation of communication/signal processing and channel blocks,
• Experience in physical and data link layer design,
• Experience in modeling communication/signal processing blocks for software/hardware implementation,
• Advanced level of experience in MATLAB and Simulink,
• Preferably familiar with C, C++, HLS languages,
• Preferably familiar with RF techniques and applications and link budget analysis,
• Preferably experienced in satellite communication and tactical data link applications,
• Preferably experienced in cryptography applications,
• Preferably familiar with aerospace, space, and defense standards,
• Preferably have knowledge of environmental conditions and EMC/EMI compliance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In accordance with CTech Design/Development and Test Processes:

• Analyzing requirements and determining the functional and performance requirements of Communication/Signal Processing Systems,
• Performing modeling and simulation activities related to Communication/Signal Processing Systems and the channel for performance analysis,
• Conducting link budget analysis,
• Designing mathematical/logical blocks of Communication/Signal Processing systems,
• Dimensioning the properties and parameters of Communication/Signal Processing subsystems, blocks, and components,
• Creating feasible models for software/hardware implementations of Communication/Signal Processing blocks,
• Creating test scenarios for performance evaluation of Communication/Signal Processing systems or providing support for these activities,
• Participating in system engineering activities, contributing to decision processes, and providing support for necessary documentation,
• Participating in peer reviews, including preliminary design, critical design, or other required design reviews,
• Participating in interdisciplinary design reviews or managing these activities,
• Participating in system-level test activities,

Within the scope of Proposal Activities:

• Participating in budget and schedule activities, making estimates,

Within the General Activities of the Company:

• Learning and implementing internal processes of the company,
• Preparing and delivering internal trainings related to their expertise when necessary.
