TÜRKSAT 6A

TURKSAT 6A is Turkey’s first geostationary communication satellite, which was developed using indigenous resources and engineering capabilities within the framework of the national technology move.

CTech was responsible for the development of the Telemetry, Command & Ranging Subsystem in the TURKSAT 6A Project. Telemetry, Command, and Ranging (TCR) is the subsystem that enables communication between the satellite and the ground segment throughout the satellite’s lifecycle. It consists of active and passive RF equipment that relay uplink commands to the mission computer on the satellite and transmit telemetry data generated by the mission computer to the ground segment.
